Description

The VF-3 ventless fryer features a round cooking well with a 21-pound oil capacity.
It is mainly constructed from stainless steel with a black, welded, and powder-coated steel base plate. The interior cooking well tray is designed to contain up to 22.5 cups of spills.
The heating element is fully immersible and includes a lift-and-lock mechanism for convenient cleaning.
The SmartTouch Touch Screen Controller offers a programmable library with pre-set menu options and an automatic cook-cycle counter. The Auto-comp feature adjusts cooking time based on the size and temperature of the load. On-screen prompts guide users through operation and maintenance tasks.
This unit is equipped with several safety features, including an integrated ANSUL fire suppression system with an onboard canister and two fusible links in the cooking and air-handling zones, meeting NFPA 17A standards. It also has redundant electrical controls managed by two interlocked contractors, along with a fail-safe high-limit thermostat that offers manual and remote reset options.
The three-stage air filtration system, powered by a radial blower moving 55 CFM of air through the cooking chamber, includes a removable and washable centrifugal grease extraction and flame suppression filter. Additionally, it features a two-stage replaceable air filter cartridge, which captures over 80% of particulate emissions using high-grade HEPA media and activated carbon.
